A fun, autumn Wedding at Crondon Park, Stock Essex | Wedding photographer

I recently photographed Adele and Shane’s Wedding at the beautiful Crondon Park in Stock, Essex and I just couldn’t wait to share a little bit about it and show the highlights of the day.

There’s something magical about autumn weddings — the golden light, the crisp air and the vibrant colours of the season all come together to create a dreamy backdrop!

Nestled in the heart of the Essex countryside, Crondon Park is a stunning venue that blends rustic charm with a touch of elegance. It’s the perfect spot for couples who want their day to feel intimate and relaxed, yet undeniably special. And that’s exactly what this wedding was all about.

Adele and Shane really bought the fun to their big day which I hope you can see is really reflected in the photos.

The day started with some lovely getting-ready moments where I went between both the bridal party and groomsmen. Capturing these moments of anticipation is always such a joy because they’re filled with so much emotion and energy!

Adele and Shane opted to not have the ceremony photographed until the first kiss just so they could be fully in the moment. The couple’s vows were so heartfelt and there was such a loving atmosphere to the room!

After the ceremony, we headed outside for confetti followed by group photos. Just you just love the pumpkins to add a little something! It’s safe to say the group shots were very lively and fun — a true reflection of the couple’s vibrant personalities which I loved capturing. If you’re wondering about the amount of funny faces.. These are called ‘The ugly’s’ , a special request that is a family tradition when taking photos, so it would have been rude not to do those!

And then came my favorite part: the couple’s portraits. Again, just so much fun with a lot of reflection of Shane and Adele’s personality! I always like to start couple shots with something nice and simple like holding hands and just walking and talking to get you warmed up, followed by some photos in different spots around the venue, these are always quite relaxed and I will guide and prompt and keep these as natural as you’d like. This is something that I like to discuss in pre wedding meetings so I can gauge what you’re comfortable with. Some like to get posey which is great and others only want a few simple, natural shots which is equally as great!

The grounds at Crondon Park in Essex offer multiple pretty areas for photos including the long drive way in, a little woodlandy kind of area, there’s the water fountain, little bench with lovely scenery behind, some rustic barn doors & depending of what time of year your wedding is there’s always something pretty on the trees whether that’s berries and orangey tones or blossom and blooming, colourful flowers.

The day flowed seamlessly into the evening with heartfelt speeches that had everyone both laughing and tearing up. You could tell how much this couple is adored by their family and friends, which made capturing those candid moments all the more special.

From start to finish, Adele and Shane’s Wedding at Crondon Park was an absolute joy to photograph. It’s days like these that remind me why I love what I do. Here’s to more magical Essex weddings and more wonderful couples like this one!

If you’re looking for a rustic barn style wedding that has charm and a sense of intimacy then I’d really recommend viewing Crondon Park in Stock, Essex.
