Engagement photo shoot, Billericay, Essex | Relaxed and natural pre wedding photos

I absolutely loved this shoot! We headed to Mill Meadows in Billericay, Essex and it was just such a lovely space for engagement photos.We managed to catch the sun just as it was setting too which made for amazing, dreamy lighting.

What I loved too is that this was Tasha and Miguel’s regular spot where they often go for walks, so they had a personal touch to their photos.

I like to keep things really relaxed and chilled in any kind of couples photo shoot whether this be an engagement session, anniversary photo shoot or pre-wedding shoot in Essex. My main focus ALWAYS is that you are comfortable! I can totally empathize that having a camera pointed at you and trying to ‘act natural’ isn’t the most comfortable thing. So what I tend to do is get to know you guys first, we’ll have a little chat and then I’ll get you to do something really simple like just walking! We can all do that right? Followed by a few games I have up my sleeve.. Then by the time this is done, 9 times out of 10 my couples are already feeling relaxed and the rest just happens organically. I will lead the shoot and give prompts throughout so you don’t need to worry about that. However if you want to just do your thing and be all cute, then I’ll just click away!

Engagement photo shoots are becoming a new favourite of mine, especially with the Essex countryside be able to offer the most beautiful, natural locations! I am lucky to have found some really lovely spots and hidden gems over the years
