Natural, outdoor couple and engagement Photography in Essex

I’m now offering outdoor engagement and couple photo shoots in Essex! I’m a sucker for love and photography, so for me to be able to capture this beautiful time in your life is very rewarding for me.

I like to keep things really relaxed and chilled in any kind of couples photo shoot whether this be an engagement session, anniversary photo shoot or pre-wedding shoot in Essex. My main focus ALWAYS is that you are comfortable! I can totally empathize that having a camera pointed at you and trying to ‘act natural’ isn’t the most comfortable thing. So what I tend to do is get to know you guys first, we’ll have a little chat and then I’ll get you to do something really simple like just walking! We can all do that right? Followed by a few games I have up my sleeve.. Then by the time this is done, 9 times out of 10 my couples are already feeling relaxed and the rest just happens organically. I will lead the shoot and give prompts throughout so you don’t need to worry about that. However if you want to just do your thing and be all cute, then I’ll just click away!

Engagement shoots are such a lovely way to document this time in your lives. A chance for you to look back and remember that beautiful time you were recently proposed to/proposed. Such a magical bubble of joy.

They have definitely become a new favourite of mine, especially with the Essex countryside be able to offer the most beautiful, natural locations! I am lucky to have found some really lovely spots and hidden gems over the years.

Some of my favourite spots for couple and engagement photography include Two Tree island in Leigh On Sea, Shoebury beach, Old Leigh, Danbury country park, Hadleigh Castle, Hylands park in Chelmsford and to be honest any natural woodland area works amazing too!
