Cake Smash Photography in Essex
They grow up so fast, don’t they? Where does that time go from newborn to the first birthday? A cake smash is such a fun way to document this big milestone. If there is anything cuter than photographs of tiny babies, it’s photographs of little ones covered in cake and causing mischief.
Cake smash photo shoots are an increasingly popular way to document your baby's first big birthday, and for a good reason too - they're adorable! But you do get so much more when you book with me as not only do I offer the cake smash portion of the shoot, but we also start with a mini portrait session and end with bubble or milk bath shots. However, we can split your session time up differently if you so wish.
Cake smash photo shoots take place at the studio in South Woodham Ferrers, Essex and I have a variety of beautiful and simplistic backdrops to choose from so you can customise your shoot just how you'd like it. Plus you can choose from a range of decorative props in a whole host of colours and themes to add a little extra. During booking, we can discuss the options available and find the perfect setup for your little one’s cake smash.

Typically, cake smash photo shoots are booked to celebrate your little one's first birthday, but you can book for toddlers at any age to enjoy the shoot. Please note, you will need to provide the cake for the session. All other props, including the milk bath, are provided by me as part of the cost.
During your phone consultation, we can chat about the backdrop and prop options and I'm happy to give advice on outfits and colour schemes to make your shoot even more special.
Not sure about the whole cake thing but still want to do something a bit different and fun for your baby? Feel free to contact me for some other ideas we can discuss. Fruits and jellies can also be a lot of fun!
