A beautiful new chapter, the first few weeks of your little one's life can pass by so quickly. A newborn photo shoot can capture the precious moments with your teeny bundle of joy for you to cherish forever. From curled up sleepy shots, to when your baby is awake and in awe of their new world.

My newborn photo shoots have a natural, organic feel, using mainly light and neutral colours to create timeless images. I love pure and natural shots of newborns that capture all the features and quirks that are unique to your little one. So I focus on putting your little one into just a few comfortable positions, and the rest is all about them. Not the outfit or the pose, simply your newborn in their perfect natural state.

How to book

To book your newborn photo shoot in Essex, simply get in touch here

The best time to book your newborn session is during your pregnancy. If you require a weekend date then I will make a tentative booking for you based on your due date and then we can always alter nearer the time if need be. However if you are available on week days then I’ll simply get you to contact me once baby is here (within the first 48 hours if possible) and I’ll get you booked in at the best suitable date

I photograph newborns from 7 days to 16 days old (if you are particularly after those scrunched up, sleepy shots) but if you have missed this slot and would still like some photos to cherish, please don't hesitate to contact me as there are still so many lovely shots we can get.

My newborn photo shoots are 2-3 hours long - I’ll supply the coffee and biscuits but feel free to bring food and make yourselves at home!

An important part of a newborn photo shoot - please try to relax and enjoy the process. Some babies will take longer than others to go to sleep/settle due to a whole list of reasons. I totally understand that you are paying for a photo shoot and that you may have certain shots in mind that you’d really like to get.. but we WILL get there! The more relaxed you are, the more your baby will feed off of your energy and relax too :)

Newborn photo shoots take place at my studio in Hadleigh, Essex
